We are so glad you are going to join us for RAHAB’s annual retreat! It will be a wonderful weekend of worship, Bible study, relaxation, and fun activities!

When: Friday, May 1st – Sunday, May 3rd
Where: Camp Wanake, 9463 Manchester Ave SW, Beach City, OH 44608

Cost: FREE to attend!

Travel information:
You may transport yourself or ride in a RAHAB van from one of the RAHAB Drop-In Homes.

If you are riding the RAHAB vans they will leave:
From the Canton Drop-In Home (914 Sandal Place NE, Canton) at 3:00pm on Friday, May 1st
From the Akron Drop-In Home (450 Matthews Street, Akron) at 2:45pm on Friday, May 1st

If you are transporting yourself, plan to arrive after 4pm at Camp Wanake (do NOT arrive earlier than 4pm).

The vans will leave Camp Wanake at 11:00am on Sunday, May 3rd to return.

Remember to pack comfortable sneakers, a Bible, clothes for the weather, a jacket or hoodie, and all your own toiletries.

All meals, a sleeping bag, and a towel will be provided for you. Please bring a pillow, blanket, or any other sleeping materials you wish to have.

2026 RAHAB RETREAT RELEASE & WAIVER
I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the activities of the RAHAB Retreat at Wanake Camp, May 1st - 3rd. I understand the risks involved. Recreational activities, events, and use of the grounds and equipment, including, but not limited to, canoeing, kayaking, bonfire, outdoor recreation, games, and hiking involve risk of injury and I agree to accept any and all risks associated with the activities, including but not limited to property damage or loss, minor bodily injury, severe bodily injury, illness and death. I recognize that my participation in the RAHAB Retreat involves activities such as travel to/from Wanake Camp, limited availability of medical aid, and the possible negligent or reckless conduct of other participants. By voluntarily participating in the RAHAB Retreat with the knowledge of the risks involved, I agree to accept any and all inherent risks of property damage, bodily injury, or death. In consideration of my participation in this activity and to the extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RAHAB Ministries (Reaching Above Hopeless and Brokenness Ministries, Inc.), its trustees, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers and assigns from and against all claims arising out of or resulting from my participation. Claim as used in this agreement means any financial loss, claim, suit, action, damage, or expense, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, attributable to bodily injury, sickness, disease or death, or injury to or destruction of tangible property including loss of use resulting therefrom. Human Trafficking 101

Duration: 1 Hour

What it is: HT 101 is an essential teaching on the realities of human trafficking. In this course, we will illuminate the issues of sex trafficking, explain a generalized process for how someone becomes involved in trafficking, and provide practical insight of how trafficking takes place. We will also highlight what we know about traffickers, how someone becomes vulnerable to trafficking, and how demand for commercial sex fuels sex trafficking. By the end of this course, you will be able to articulate the needs and vulnerabilities of trafficking survivors and have knowledge of practical solutions

Who it is for: This course is offered to all members of the community who would like to understand human trafficking and is required for all of RAHAB’s volunteers and staff.
